Apply & track with Apply EdgeZOOMLION IS HIRING | ACCOUNTS SPECIALIST Location: UAE ZOOMLION is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Specialist with strong expertise in banking operations, Letters of Credit (L/C), trade finance, import business, VAT compliance, tax reporting, and auditing. We are looking for a professional with strong analytical skills, risk awareness, and experience in financial operations and internal controls. Key Responsibilities
- Manage issued and received cheques, post-dated cheque (PDC) tracking, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle Letters of Credit (L/C) applications, amendments, and compliance with applicable INCOTERMS.
- Process import/export documentation, including Bills of Lading (B/L), commercial invoices, packing lists, and related documents.
- Coordinate with banks regarding customs clearances, bank charges, commissions, and documentation discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate VAT records and handle tax reporting, including import VAT and input VAT.
- Support internal and external audits, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Reconcile purchase orders (POs), goods receipt notes (GRNs), invoices, and trade finance documentation. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, banking operations, accounts payable, purchasing, inventory, or trade finance.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, including import VAT and input VAT.
- Proven experience in import business operations and Letters of Credit.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and financial reporting templates.
- Strong auditing exposure, risk awareness, attention to detail, and analytical skills. Why Join ZOOMLION?
