Washlex works with hospitality providers, property developers, and homeowners seeking innovative bathroom solutions that stand out in both design and performance.Role Description The Accountant at Washlex Pvt Ltd will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing regular financial reports. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, expense tracking, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves assisting with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring tax and regulatory compliance, and coordinating with external auditors as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Padukka, requiring close collaboration with management and other departments to provide accurate financial insights and support decision-making.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong financial accounting and bookkeeping skills, including experience with ledgers, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including data analysis, spreadsheets, and basic financial modeling.Candidates should possess knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic auditing processes relevant to local statutory frameworks.Candidates should possess strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and present financial information clearly.A relevant diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications in accounting or finance are an added advantage.Prior experience in a similar accounting role, ideally in a manufacturing, retail, or consumer products environment, will be beneficial.
