ACCREDITATION MANAGER

Role SummaryWe are hiring an experienced Accreditation Manager for a high-profile sporting event in Abu Dhabi. You will lead the full accreditation operation, from planning and data collection through badge production and on-site access control, so that every athlete, official, staff member, contractor, media representative and VIP gets the right access at the right time.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and run the end-to-end accreditation process, including categories, zoning and access privileges, working with security and operations.Set up and manage the accreditation system and database: registrations, approvals, photo and ID verification, and data accuracy.Oversee badge printing, distribution and collection, and handle lost, replacement and upgraded passes.Set up and manage the accreditation centre: layout, staffing, equipment, opening hours and queue management.Lead, brief and schedule the accreditation supervisor and team.Work with security, venue operations, hospitality, media, VIP protocol and transport so access rules are enforced at all entry points.Coordinate background or security vetting with the relevant authorities where required.Resolve on-site access issues and escalations quickly and diplomatically, especially for VIPs and dignitaries.Keep data confidential and handle personal information in line with UAE regulations.Produce daily accreditation reports and a final post-event report with lessons learned.Required SkillsHands-on experience with accreditation software and badge printing systems.Strong leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills under pressure.Excellent communication skills and a professional manner with VIPs and stakeholders.Required QualificationsFluent English required; Arabic is a strong advantage.Based in the UAE, or able to mobilise to Abu Dhabi, is preferred.Experience Requirement5+ years of event accreditation experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role. Proven track record on major sporting events, festivals or government and royal-patronage events, ideally in the UAE or GCC.Location / Work ModePresident's Cup - Abu Dhabi, UAE
