Candidates joining ZAcoustics will contribute to projects that shape acoustic environments across diverse and impactful applications.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Acoustic Engineer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Acoustic Engineer will perform acoustic measurements, noise and vibration assessments, and in-situ testing for a variety of building and mechanical systems. Daily responsibilities include analyzing acoustic data, modeling and simulating sound behavior in architectural and mechanical contexts, and preparing technical reports, drawings, and specifications. The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to propose and implement tailored acoustic solutions that meet project requirements and regulatory standards. Qualifications Strong skills in Acoustic Measurement and general Acoustic analysis, including data acquisition, interpretation, and reporting.Expertise in Architectural Acoustics and Building Acoustics, with the ability to design and evaluate acoustic treatments for diverse spaces.Competence in Signal Processing techniques for noise and vibration analysis, filtering, and diagnostic applications.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.Familiarity with acoustic modeling software (e.g., EASE, Odeon, SoundPLAN, or similar) and CAD tools is preferred.Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations related to noise, vibration, and building acoustics.Effective communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Previous experience in consulting, construction, or building services engineering is an advantage.
