The ideal candidate will oversee acoustic modelling, sound control strategies, noise management, technical coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration while ensuring projects achieve optimal acoustic performance, regulatory compliance, and exceptional user experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement acoustic engineering strategies, design standards, technical methodologies, and acoustic performance frameworks aligned with organizational objectives.Lead acoustic engineering activities from concept design through detailed design, testing, construction support, commissioning, and project completion.Collaborate with Acoustic Engineers, Architects, Interior Designers, Audio Specialists, Engineers, Contractors, Consultants, Sustainability Teams, Project Managers, and Executive Leadership to deliver integrated acoustic solutions.Manage acoustic assessments, sound modelling, noise control studies, vibration analyses, reverberation analysis, speech intelligibility evaluations, and environmental noise assessments.Develop acoustic design solutions for buildings, studios, theatres, auditoriums, offices, residential developments, hospitality spaces, transportation facilities, and industrial environments.Oversee acoustic simulations, computational modelling, material selection, technical specifications, and performance verification processes.Manage acoustic testing programmes including sound insulation testing, impact noise testing, room acoustic measurements, and environmental noise monitoring.Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to integrate acoustic requirements into project delivery.Ensure acoustic designs comply with UAE building regulations, environmental noise standards, occupational health requirements, sustainability frameworks, and industry best practices.Develop acoustic engineering guidelines, design standards, calculation methodologies, technical reports, and quality assurance procedures.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including acoustic performance, design quality, project milestones, testing outcomes, client satisfaction, compliance performance, technical accuracy, and delivery efficiency.Conduct acoustic design reviews, technical audits, performance assessments, risk evaluations, benchmarking studies, and continuous improvement initiatives.Manage acoustic engineering budgets, specialist consultants, testing providers, software platforms, suppliers, and strategic technical partnerships.Drive digital transformation through artificial intelligence (AI)-powered acoustic modelling, automated sound analysis, digital twins, computational design, immersive audio simulation, and data-driven engineering solutions.Utilize SoundPLAN, EASE, Odeon, INSUL, CATT-Acoustic, MATLAB, Rhino, Grasshopper, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM platforms, Microsoft 365, Power BI, and acoustic simulation tools to optimize engineering performance and generate actionable insights.Prepare executive presentations, acoustic strategy reports, technical assessments, project reviews, compliance documentation, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.Lead, mentor, and develop acoustic engineers, technical specialists, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams while fostering a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Acoustic Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Building Science, or a related field.Master's degree in Acoustical Engineering, Architectural Acoustics, Building Physics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline is highly advantageous.Professional certifications or memberships with organizations such as Institute of Acoustics (IOA), Acoustical Society of America (ASA), or equivalent are preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in acoustic engineering, architectural acoustics, environmental noise consulting, audio engineering, building performance, or related roles.At least 2 years of experience managing acoustic engineering teams, complex acoustic projects, technical consulting programmes, or multidisciplinary design initiatives preferred.Strong understanding of acoustics principles, sound propagation, noise control, vibration isolation, room acoustics, building acoustics, acoustic modelling, testing methodologies, and acoustic standards.Experience with SoundPLAN, EASE, Odeon, INSUL, CATT-Acoustic, MATLAB, Rhino, Grasshopper, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and acoustic analysis tools.Familiarity with AI-powered acoustic analysis, digital twins, computational acoustic design, immersive audio technologies, automated sound measurement, and advanced simulation technologies is highly advantageous.Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, project management, budgeting, technical reporting, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple acoustic engineering initiatives while balancing technical performance, design requirements, regulatory compliance, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with distributed engineering teams, architects, designers, contractors, consultants, clients, and global stakeholders, with occasional travel for site inspections, acoustic testing, project reviews, and
