Beta Acoustics FZE combines technical rigor, regulatory compliance, and creative problem-solving to optimize acoustic performance and aural comfort for clients in the UAE and internationally.Role Description The Acoustics Engineer will work full time on-site in Dubai, supporting the design and delivery of acoustic solutions for a wide range of building projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing acoustic measurements and surveys, analyzing data, and preparing clear, technically sound reports and recommendations. The role involves developing and reviewing acoustic designs for architectural, environmental, and building applications, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. The Acoustics Engineer will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, provide input during design coordination meetings, and assist with on-site testing and troubleshooting.Qualifications Strong proficiency in Acoustic Measurement and practical field testing, including use of sound level meters, analyzers, and related instrumentation.Knowledge of Architectural Acoustics and building acoustic design, including room acoustics, sound insulation, and noise control strategies.Solid understanding of core Acoustics principles, environmental noise assessment, and vibration control in industrial and built environments.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.Familiarity with international and UAE acoustic standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.Ability to produce clear technical reports, communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and present findings to clients.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and site-based work.Prior experience in an acoustic consultancy or related engineering environment is highly beneficial.Minimum 5-years of proven working experience in the field of Acoustics engineering. Knowledge in noise modelling software such EASE, ODEON, CADNA, SOUNDPLAN.
