We’re Hiring: Actuarial SupervisorAre you an analytical and detail-oriented actuarial professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Supervisor to support the actuarial function and contribute to sound business decisions through data-driven analysis and actuarial expertise.About the Role:The Actuarial Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day actuarial activities, ensuring the accuracy of actuarial analysis, and supporting pricing, reserving, financial reporting, and risk management in accordance with company policies, professional actuarial standards, and the regulatory requirements of the Insurance Authority.The role works closely with Underwriting, Finance, Claims, Reinsurance, Risk Management, and senior management to support profitability, financial stability, and informed decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Supervise actuarial analysis, pricing models, and technical calculations.Review and validate actuarial data to ensure completeness and accuracy.Support the valuation of technical provisions and insurance liabilities.Assist in developing and reviewing product pricing and underwriting assumptions.Monitor portfolio performance, claims trends, and emerging risks.Prepare actuarial reports, management information, and regulatory submissions.Support financial reporting through actuarial analysis and technical inputs.Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Reinsurance, and Risk Management on actuarial matters.Ensure compliance with actuarial standards, company policies, and Insurance Authority regulations.Identify opportunities to enhance actuarial models, automation, and analytical processes.Supervise and mentor actuarial analysts while supporting their professional development.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.Progress toward a recognized actuarial qualification (SOA, IFoA, CAS, or equivalent) is preferred.5–6 years of actuarial experience within the insurance industry.Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.Strong knowledge of pricing, reserving, actuarial modelling, and insurance analytics.Key Competencies:Analytical ThinkingTechnical ExcellenceProblem SolvingAttention to DetailPlanning & OrganizingCommunicationTeam LeadershipCollaborationIf you are passionate about applying actuarial expertise to drive business performance and are ready to take on a supervisory role, we invite you to apply and become part of our team.
