AD & Messaging Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced AD & Messaging Engineer (L2/L3) to manage and support enterprise Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and file/DFS services. The role will provide advanced technical support, administration, troubleshooting, and infrastructure improvements across the Microsoft environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain enterprise Active Directory environments.Manage Active Directory users, groups, organizational units, permissions, and policies.Design, implement, and troubleshoot Group Policy (GPO) configurations.Administer and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP services.Support Microsoft PKI, certificates, and certificate lifecycle management.Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange environments.Support Microsoft 365 messaging and identity services.Manage mailboxes, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, and mail flow.Troubleshoot email delivery, authentication, and messaging-related issues.Manage Windows file servers and DFS/DFS-R environments.Perform L2/L3 troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.Support Microsoft infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle activities.Monitor system health, availability, and performance.Implement security and hardening recommendations across Microsoft infrastructure.Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and infrastructure diagrams.Support major incidents and provide technical escalation.Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, cloud, service desk, and application teams.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.5–8 years of experience in Microsoft infrastructure administration/engineering.Strong hands-on experience with:Active DirectoryGroup PolicyDNS/DHCPWindows ServerPKIExchangeMicrosoft 365File Services / DFSExperience troubleshooting complex enterprise Microsoft environments.Strong understanding of identity, authentication, access control, and Windows security.Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation is preferred.Experience in enterprise environments with multiple domains/sites is an advantage.Preferred CertificationsMicrosoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator AssociateMicrosoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Windows Server certificationRelevant Microsoft infrastructure certificationsKey SkillsActive DirectoryWindows ServerGPODNS / DHCPPKIExchangeMicrosoft 365DFS / File ServicesPowerShellIdentity & Access ManagementInfrastructure SecurityTroubleshooting
