At Voksel 3D, this role makes sure that happens.As a Additive Manufacturing Project Engineer, you will be the technical link between what our customers in defense, aerospace, industrial manufacturing and medical need to produce and what our systems can deliver. If you want hands-on work across a wide range of AM technologies, with real impact on Türkiye's advanced manufacturing landscape, this role is for you.About us:Voksel 3D supplies advanced additive manufacturing systems across Türkiye: metal and polymer powder bed fusion systems, ultra-polymer FDM systems, 3D sand printers and ceramic printers. We support our customers from technology selection through installation, process qualification and series production.What You'll DoPart assessment: Evaluate candidate parts for additive manufacturing, including technology and material selection, manufacturability, design optimization and the business case behind each partDesign & build preparation: Apply DfAM to redesign existing parts and optimize new ones; prepare build files that deliver high-quality parts with minimum build time and maximum consistencyProcess & materials: Analyze print parameters and post-processing routes (including heat treatment) by evaluating mechanical properties, dimensional accuracy and surface finish; document parameters, build reports and work instructionsBenchmarks & demos: Manage benchmark and sample parts needs that show customers what our technologies can do for their applicationsCustomer & sales support: Take part in technical meetings with customers, provide input for proposals and feasibility studies, and prepare technical reports and presentationsOwnership: Manage several projects in parallel, adapt to shifting priorities, close loops and hold yourself to a high standard of qualityRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Materials Engineering2–3 years of hands-on experience in additive manufacturing (metal and/or polymer)Hands-on experience operating metal or polymer AM systems, preferably powder bed fusionWorking knowledge of DfAM: you know how to make a part printable and worth printingProficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred; Siemens NX or CATIA also welcome)Experience with build preparation software (e.g., Materialise Magics or similar)Ability to read and interpret technical drawingsUnderstanding of metal and polymer material behavior, heat treatment and post-processingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable with ambiguityGood written and spoken EnglishFor male candidates, military service completed or exemptedPreferred QualificationsExperience in defense, aerospace or medical manufacturing environmentsExperience with high-performance polymer FDM, sand or ceramic AM processesExperience with inspection methods (CMM, 3D scanning, CT)Experience with simulation or topology optimization toolsExperience training or supporting customers on manufacturing equipmentWhy This Role Additive manufacturing is growing fast in Türkiye, especially in defense, aerospace and medical.
