Adjunct Faculty - Computer Science ( Amity University Ranchi)

Role Description The Adjunct Faculty - CSE (Amity University Ranchi) role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Ranchi campus. The faculty member will deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering, including preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions. Responsibilities include designing and updating course materials, assessing student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations, and providing academic mentoring and guidance. The role involves engaging in curriculum development aligned with industry trends, contributing to departmental activities, and supporting collaborative academic initiatives. The faculty member is expected to maintain high standards of teaching, uphold academic integrity, and contribute positively to the university’s learning environment.QualificationsStrong foundation in core Computer Science and Engineering areas such as programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, operating systems, and computer networks.Skills in curriculum design, lesson planning, and assessment methods for effective delivery of CSE courses.Demonstrated teaching, mentoring, and classroom management abilities, with a student-centered approach.Experience or interest in research, scholarly activities, or industry collaboration in relevant CSE domains.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear instruction and academic interaction.Master’s degree (M.Tech/M.E/MCA /BSC IT from a recognized institution.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary academic environment and contribute to departmental initiatives.Familiarity with educational technology tools, learning management systems, and modern pedagogical practices.Industry experience, certifications, or exposure to emerging technologies (e.g., AI, ML, cloud computing, cybersecurity) would be an added advantage.
