The university is part of a wider network of Amity institutions known for high standards and notable achievements in diverse fields.Role Description The Adjunct Faculty – Computer Science will teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in computer science and related areas in a full-time, on-site capacity at the Patna campus. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, leading lab sessions, developing course materials, designing assessments, and grading student work. The faculty member will provide academic advising, support student projects, and foster an engaging, inclusive classroom environment. Additional duties may include contributing to curriculum review, participating in departmental meetings, and supporting collaborative research or industry-focused initiatives. The role requires consistent on-campus presence and active participation in academic and institutional activities.Qualifications Strong foundation in core Computer Science concepts and higher-level academic training in a relevant discipline.Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, learning outcomes, and assessment strategies.Applied expertise in Programming (e.g., one or more modern languages) for teaching theoretical and practical courses.Background in Data Science concepts and tools suitable for guiding projects and specialized coursework.Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and practices relevant to academic instruction and research.Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field from a recognized institution.Prior teaching experience at the university level, with demonstrated ability to engage and support diverse learners.Effective communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with a commitment to inclusive and ethical teaching.Willingness to participate in departmental initiatives, collaborate on research or industry partnerships, and contribute to academic growth.
