Adjunct- Russian Language

Role Description This Adjunct – Russian Language role is an on-site position based at Plekhanov University’s Dubai campus. The adjunct faculty member will teach Russian language courses at various proficiency levels, prepare lesson plans and instructional materials, and deliver engaging classroom instruction. Responsibilities include assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records of grades and attendance, and holding office hours to support learners’ progress. The role also involves participating in curriculum development, collaborating with colleagues to enhance language programs, and ensuring that teaching methods align with university standards and learning outcomes.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Translation and Interpreting skills for academic and professional contexts.Candidates should possess effective Communication and Language Services skills to support diverse learners and academic activities.Candidates should possess clear, accurate Writing skills for preparing teaching materials, assessments, and feedback.Advanced proficiency in Russian, with the ability to teach grammar, vocabulary, and conversation across levels.Relevant graduate degree in Russian Language, Linguistics, Education, or a closely related field.Prior experience teaching Russian in a higher education or professional setting is highly beneficial.Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and support inclusive, learner-centered teaching.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple courses and responsibilities effectively on-site in Dubai.
