The organization offers a dynamic environment for professionals interested in architecture, design, and project delivery across the Middle East.Role Description The Owner role at Dhow Architectural Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The Owner is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of the company, guiding business development, and overseeing key client relationships across residential and large-scale project markets. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and approving major project proposals, monitoring financial performance, and coordinating with regional offices to ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence. The role involves supervising senior managers, supporting partnership development with global manufacturers, and ensuring that design, procurement, and turnkey solutions meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations. The Owner also represents the company in high-level negotiations, industry events, and stakeholder meetings, while fostering a collaborative, ethical, and safety-conscious work culture.Qualifications Demonstrated leadership experience in architecture, interior design, construction, or building technologies, with a track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex projects.Strong strategic planning, business development, and commercial acumen, including experience with regional markets in the GCC or broader Middle East.Proficiency in project management practices, contract oversight, and vendor or partnership management, ideally involving lighting, FF&E, or related building solutions.Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and performance metrics for medium to large businesses or project portfolios.Ability to work on-site in Doha, Qatar, and coordinate activities across multiple regional offices.Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is an advantage.Prior ownership, senior executive, or director-level experience in a design, construction, or technology-focused organization is highly beneficial.
