The organisation plays a key role in managing native title outcomes, land use, and related benefits for Yamatji people. The organisation offers opportunities to work in a values-driven environment with a strong community focus.Role Description The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Geraldton, WA. This role supports day-to-day office operations, including managing incoming calls, greeting visitors, and responding to general enquiries. Responsibilities include preparing and formatting documents, maintaining filing and records systems (electronic and paper-based), scheduling meetings and appointments, and providing diary support to executive and management staff as required. The Administrative Assistant will handle data entry, correspondence, and basic reporting, and assist with organising events, workshops, and travel arrangements. The role also involves coordinating office supplies, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring administrative processes are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with organisational policies.Qualifications Strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills, including document preparation, filing, data entry, and records management.Professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and clearly with diverse stakeholders.Experience providing Executive Administrative Assistance, such as diary management, meeting coordination, and handling confidential information.Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite), email and calendar systems, and basic database or CRM tools.Demonstrated attention to detail, time management, and ability to prioritise tasks in a busy office environment.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, Aboriginal organisations and the Yamatji Nation context.Relevant certificate or diploma in business administration or equivalent experience in an administrative role.
