Administrative Assistant Manager

Role Description The Director at NMDC Energy is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for overseeing strategic planning and execution of EPC projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, safety standards, and client expectations. The Director leads cross-functional teams, manages budgets and resource allocation, and provides guidance on project prioritization and risk management. Day-to-day activities include reviewing project performance, supporting business development efforts, engaging with key clients and stakeholders, and driving operational improvements across engineering, procurement, and construction functions. The position also involves mentoring senior managers, promoting a high-performance culture, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, quality standards, and sustainability objectives.QualificationsProven leadership experience in EPC, energy, or heavy infrastructure sectors, including oversight of large, complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.Strong strategic planning, business development, and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with major regional and international clients.Demonstrated expertise in project governance, risk management, budgeting, and resource optimization within an engineering and construction environment.Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with a collaborative leadership style and the ability to drive change and continuous improvement.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is preferred.Experience working in the MENA region or similar markets, with familiarity in regional regulations and standards; offshore and fabrication yard experience is an advantage.Commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) principles, and experience embedding these standards in project and organizational practices.Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, and travel as required to offices, yards, and project locations.
