Employment Type: Full-timeCompensation: $180,000 to $195,000 per yearReports To: Market-level executive leaderThe OpportunityOur client, a respected ambulatory surgery organization, is seeking an Administrator to lead a two-room endoscopy center in San Jose.

The center is planning a leadership transition, which gives the incoming Administrator the chance to take over a well-run facility and put their own stamp on its next phase of growth.If you are an Endoscopy Center Director or senior clinical leader who has been running day-to-day operations and is ready to own the full picture, this is that step. You would hold the center’s P&L, lead physician and partner relationships, and drive growth, while still staying close to the clinical operation you know well. A two-room center is a setting where an Administrator is deeply involved in everything from the schedule to the surgeons to the financials, with direct access to the executive leader you report to and the support of a larger management organization behind you.What You Will OwnGrowth and physician relationshipsOwn organic top-line growth through increased volume from existing physicians, new physician recruitment, and strategic service line developmentDesign and carry out physician recruitment and marketing programs in partnership with physicians, medical groups, health system partners, local employers, and payersBuild and maintain trusted relationships with physician partners, the governing board, and medical staffDevelop short- and long-term strategic plans in partnership with the organization’s leadership teamOperational and financial leadershipManage the center’s P&L, financial controls, and reportingDevelop and manage the operating and capital budgets and the plans that keep operations cost-effectiveOversee billing, collections, appeals, and accounts payable to support strong revenue cycle performanceCoordinate supplies, materials, and equipment with the Director of SupplyDirect activity within the O.R. suite and serve as Risk Manager designeeClinical quality and complianceLead and develop the clinical and business office teams, including hiring, scheduling, evaluations, and coachingMonitor nursing practice standards, policy compliance, and annual recertificationOversee infection prevention, environmental safety, and performance improvement programsMaintain systems that ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standardsWhat You BringCurrent California RN licenseBachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and two to four years of related experienceClinical experience in endoscopy preferred, or experience managing clinical and business office teams in an outpatient or inpatient perioperative settingWorking knowledge of infection prevention, performance improvement, budgeting and P&L management, AP/AR and revenue cycle, and supply chainA track record of building trusting relationships with physicians and partnersStrong written and verbal communication and the ability to present to physicians, managers, and executivesCompensation and BenefitsThe salary range is $180,000 to $195,000 per year.
