Apply & track with Apply EdgeGeneral Job SummaryResponsible for overseeing the implementation of all activities related to admissions and registration, including developing admissions and registration policies and procedures, receiving and reviewing applications for admission to the Academy, and preparing certificates and graduation documents for approved graduates. In addition, the role oversees the review and audit of academic study plans for all students expected to graduate, in alignment with the Academy’s approved policies and procedures.Roles and ResponsibilitiesLeadership / Managerial ResponsibilitiesLead and effectively guide the section team to achieve the section’s strategic objectives.Ensure the implementation of the Academy’s approved policies and procedures within the section.Provide recommendations for improving policies and procedures related to the Admissions and Registration Section.Implement corrective actions for any deviations from the policies, procedures, and regulations of the section and the Academy, in coordination with the line manager.Ensure the achievement of the section’s strategic objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Support the line manager in preparing the budget for the Admissions and Registration Section.Operational Responsibilities Oversee the implementation of all admissions and registration activities in alignment with the Academy’s approved policies and procedures.Develop admissions and registration policies and procedures in alignment with the Academy’s overall policies and procedures.Develop guidelines and manuals related to student enrollment in the training and academic programs offered by the Academy.Establish appropriate and effective frameworks for receiving applications and ensuring their compliance with the Academy’s approved admission requirements.Define criteria and requirements for admission applications in alignment with approved policies and procedures.Establish effective processes for accurately recording and maintaining lists of students enrolled at the Academy.Oversee the management of the student database and ensure the confidentiality and protection of student data.Establish appropriate standards for archiving, organizing, maintaining, and updating student records and files.Oversee the organization and maintenance of records and files for students enrolled at the Academy.Manage the preparation and issuance of certificates and graduation documents for approved graduates based on the official graduation lists.Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to obtain the required approvals and signatures for certificates and graduation documents issued by the Academy.Develop and enhance frameworks and criteria for assessing the academic level of enrolled students, determining their eligibility for academic programs, and ensuring fulfillment of certification requirements.Collaborate with the Academic Affairs Department to prepare examination schedules and training and academic course schedules and oversee their implementation.Develop and issue the annual academic calendar in accordance with the Academy’s training and academic programs.Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to confirm classroom and facility bookings based on the number of students enrolled in each course and the capacity of each classroom.Manage the course registration process, including course add/drop procedures.Oversee the preparation and organization of student schedules based on registered courses.Review and audit the study plans of all students expected to graduate, including their academic records and cumulative GPAs, identify areas for improvement, and provide appropriate recommendations.Review faculty teaching loads and provide recommendations to ensure the effective distribution of teaching responsibilities.Ensure that inquiries from prospective students are addressed through the Academy’s approved communication channels in accordance with established policies and procedures.Ensure prospective students are provided with the necessary information regarding registration procedures, applicable fees, and course selection requirements for graduation.Stay up to date with emerging trends, methodologies, systems, and best practices in admissions and registration and leverage them to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the section’s operations.Perform any additional duties assigned by the line manager that fall within the scope of the role.Qualifications and CertificationsBachelor’s degree in business administration, Education Management, or a related field.Professional Experience6–8 years of professional experience in the education sector, specifically in admissions and registration within an academic or educational institution, or in a related field.Previous experience in admissions and registration within the academic or education sector, preferably with reputable or well-established institutions.
