Job Summary:This position serves as the initial and primary point of contact for clients and families seeking admission with Scottsdale Providence Recovery Center services. This position is responsible for responding to all inquiries to Scottsdale Providence Recovery Center’s (“SPRC”) services, screening of all prospective clients for admission and exclusionary criteria, verification of benefits, reporting and logging activities, coordinating with clinical personnel for program admission, and documenting all admissions activities timely and accurately.Job Duties:Shift Details: Monday - Friday 11am to 7pmReceive inbound calls from potential clients as well as respond to inbound email inquiries and business development leads promptly.Walk clients and families through the admission process from start to finish, developing rapport through active listening and compassion while removing barriers, when possible.Provides accurate and relevant information to prospective clients relative to their needs.Collect and analyze relevant information, including medical history, biopsychosocial background, and current symptoms, to form a comprehensive understanding of each client's needs.Conduct comprehensive phone assessments of individuals with behavioral health concerns, including mental health disorders, substance abuse issues, and co-occurring conditions and report accurately within the EMR system.Verifies insurance benefits within the billing system and provides prospective clients with treatment costs.Coordinates all admissions activities such as coordination of care, communication and transportation details with referents, providers, internal staff, family, etc.Coordinates with clinical and business development personnel to ensure alignment of goals.Utilize CRM software (Salesforce) to track interactions and manage admissions pipeline.Attends Administrative team meetings to discuss challenges, concerns and organizational development.Schedule and facilitate tours for prospective clients and families.Comply with all agency Policies and Procedures.Complete all other duties as assigned/required.Attend relevant outside agency events to market and increase agency visibility, when requested.Job Specifications:Deep understanding of the Scottsdale Providence program, culture and clinical specialties.Ability to prioritize and maintain a sense of urgency throughout the workday.Ability to multitask and self-direct in a remote work environment.Available to receive phone calls after hours, on holidays or weekends, if needed.Meet individual KPIs and contribute to department KPI goals.Exemplary communication skills both telephonic, in-person and written.Develop and maintain an admissions pipeline, use a CRM, EMR, and billing software.Intermediate to advanced understanding of substance use and mental health treatment, including levels of care, therapeutic modalities including 12-step recovery, populations served, and treatment objectives.Ability to organize and evaluate waiting lists.Ability to maintain professional standards and demeanor at all times, treating all potential clients and families with dignity and respect.Adhere to SPRC Code of Ethics.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health related field is preferred.1-5 years of experience in behavioral health admissions or business development, healthcare sales, or call center environments is required.Experience using Salesforce required. Experience using Avea and Alleva preferred.Strong working knowledge of insurance benefits and verification processes is preferred.Physical Demands:The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
