This is a hybrid admissions and relationship-building role for someone who enjoys helping people, communicating with families and referral partners, and being part of a fast-paced treatment environment.The ideal candidate is someone who can build genuine relationships while also staying organized and making sure every detail of the admissions process is handled correctly.What You’ll DoAdmissions & Intake* Respond to new inquiries from potential clients, families, and referral sources.* Walk clients and families through the Purple PHP/IOP treatment process, expectations, and next steps.* Schedule and coordinate client intakes.* Facilitate admissions/intake appointments and ensure a smooth transition into treatment.* Coordinate closely with clinical, medical, operations, and administrative teams throughout the admissions process.* Help prospective clients feel comfortable, informed, and supported from their first interaction with Purple.Insurance & Verification* Obtain and submit Verification of Benefits (VOB) for prospective clients.* Communicate insurance information and benefits clearly to families and referral sources.* Track outstanding insurance and admissions requirements.* Maintain accurate and timely admissions records.Referral & Relationship Development* Track outgoing referrals and coordinate appropriate placement when Purple is not the right level of care.* Maintain relationships with hospitals, therapists, treatment centers, case managers, attorneys, and other referral partners.* Spend time in the community developing and maintaining referral relationships.* Meet with referral partners and help them understand Purple’s PHP/IOP programs.* Stay connected with Purple alumni and help maintain strong alumni relationships.* Represent Purple professionally at networking events, meetings, and community activities.Communication & Availability* Communicate consistently with the admissions and clinical teams.* Respond promptly to calls, texts, and other admissions inquiries.* Participate in an on-call rotation/availability, including some evenings and weekends, using a company-provided or personal mobile device.* Ensure prospective clients receive timely responses when they reach out outside of normal business hours.What We’re Looking For* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Highly organized with strong attention to detail.* Comfortable talking with people who may be experiencing a difficult or stressful time.* Ability to build authentic relationships with families, clients, alumni, and professional referral partners.* Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple admissions simultaneously.* Comfortable working independently while communicating closely with a team.* Professional, positive, and energetic attitude.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.* Previous experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, admissions, business development, case management, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.* Experience with insurance verification and/or treatment admissions is a plus.This Role Is a Great Fit For Someone Who…* Loves people and relationships.* Is naturally outgoing and comfortable picking up the phone.* Can balance sales/relationship-building with administrative responsibilities.* Enjoys getting out of the office and meeting referral partners.* Takes ownership and doesn’t need to be micromanaged.* Understands that admissions is about more than paperwork—it’s about helping someone take the first step toward getting their life back.Compensation & Benefits* Competitive salary* Performance-based bonuses* 401(k)* Full-time position* Opportunities for professional growth* Great team culture* Supportive, collaborative work environment* Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients and families* Community networking and relationship-building opportunitiesBecause admissions can happen outside traditional business hours, this position will also require some evening and weekend availability to answer calls/messages on a mobile device.
