This role involves guiding prospective students through the admissions process, including initial counseling, program matching, application assistance, and document review. The Admissions Counselor responds to inquiries, conducts consultations in person and via phone or online channels, and supports students in understanding admission requirements, timelines, and visa-related steps. The role includes maintaining accurate records, coordinating with university partners, participating in recruitment events, and meeting conversion and enrollment targets. The Admissions Counselor collaborates with colleagues to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all prospective students.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to effectively counsel and support diverse student populations.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide consistent, timely support.Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert leads into enrollments, meet recruitment targets, and promote suitable programs and institutions.Candidates should possess an understanding of Education systems and international study pathways to advise students on academic options and admissions requirements.Relevant experience in admissions, student recruitment, counseling, or customer-facing roles, preferably within higher education or international education.Proficiency in English; additional languages commonly used in the region are an advantage.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Business, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
