Employment Type: Full-timeSalary: AED 420,000 – 780,000 per yearAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Adult Psychiatrist to join our team in Dubai.

You will assess, diagnose and treat adults with a wide range of mental health conditions, delivering safe, evidence-based and patient-centred care. You will work alongside psychologists, therapists, nurses and social workers as part of a multidisciplinary team.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations for adult patientsDiagnose and manage conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, OCD, PTSD, ADHD and substance-related disordersDevelop and review individual treatment plans, including medication management and monitoringProvide risk assessment, suicide-risk evaluation and crisis intervention, with referral to inpatient or emergency care when neededCollaborate with psychologists, therapists, primary care physicians and other specialists to coordinate careEducate and support patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment and recoveryMaintain accurate, confidential clinical records in line with UAE health regulations and data protection requirementsTake part in clinical governance, case reviews, quality improvement and supervision of junior staffContribute to community awareness and mental health education programmesRequirementsMedical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from a recognised institutionSpecialist qualification or board certification in Psychiatry (or equivalent)A minimum of 3 years of post-specialty experience in adult psychiatryA valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license, or eligibility to obtain one before startingStrong skills in diagnosis, psychopharmacology, risk assessment and clinical documentationExcellent communication in English.
