This scale and specialization provide team members exposure to a dynamic industrial environment and technologically advanced manufacturing processes.Role Description The Advanced Business Application Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore. The individual will design, develop, and maintain SAP-based business applications, focusing on optimizing processes across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and other business functions. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and enhancing ABAP programs, creating and integrating BAPIs, troubleshooting system issues, and implementing change requests in collaboration with functional teams. The role involves participating in requirement gathering, translating business needs into technical specifications, conducting unit and integration testing, and ensuring solutions adhere to best practices and company standards. The developer will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to deliver stable, scalable applications that support Ghani Glass Limited’s operational and strategic objectives.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Programming and Software Development skills, with a focus on enterprise applications.Candidates should possess hands-on SAP Development expertise, including Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP).Candidates should possess experience with BAPI and related SAP integration and customization tools.Candidates should possess solid understanding of SDLC, requirements analysis, technical documentation, and testing practices.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably with SAP ECC or S/4HANA, is an advantage.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.Good communication skills in English; familiarity with regional business practices is beneficial.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.1.5–2 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.Strong knowledge of ABAP, including Reports, ALV, Smart Forms, Enhancements, BADI, and User Exits.Hands-on experience with Adobe Forms.Working knowledge of CDS Views.Good understanding of SAP Data Dictionary and performance tuning.Basic knowledge of integration concepts such as IDoc, BAPI, and RFC.Familiarity with SAP modules such as SD, MM, and FI will be an advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.
