investors.PortfolioFuture is developing technology, research, and distribution capabilities designed to help high-quality investment products and investment research become more discoverable across traditional search engines, AI platforms, answer engines, and professional investment workflows.The RolePortfolioFuture is seeking an Advisor, AI Discovery to advise the company on organic search, AI-driven discovery, digital distribution, and emerging search technologies.The Advisor will provide high-level strategic guidance on how PortfolioFuture’s fund research, manager research, investment analysis, and related content can be discovered more effectively by investors, financial advisors, search engines, AI assistants, and other digital platforms.This is an advisory role focused on strategy, insight, and direction rather than day-to-day execution.Areas of involvement may include:Advising on SEO strategy, organic search visibility, and user acquisition.Providing strategic perspective on AI-driven discovery, including generative engine optimization, answer engines, AI assistants, large language models, and emerging AI search platforms.Advising on how PortfolioFuture content can become more visible and authoritative across platforms such as Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and other search and AI systems.Advising on content architecture, internal linking, taxonomy, structured information, and site architecture across fund pages, comparison pages, rankings, research pages, and manager content.Developing strategies to improve the discoverability, authority, and distribution of PortfolioFuture research.Advising on keyword strategy, search intent, topic selection, and content opportunities related to funds, fund comparisons, alternatives, investment strategies, asset managers, and investment research.Providing guidance on research distribution, backlinks, external authority, digital PR, partnerships, and other organic growth channels.Advising on how manager research and investment content can reach relevant investors, financial advisors, wealth managers, and institutional audiences.Evaluating organic search performance, AI referrals, content-distribution performance, and other discovery metrics.Identifying opportunities to improve visibility across both traditional search and emerging AI-driven discovery channels.Advising on how content should be structured so that search engines, AI models, and professional users can more easily understand, reference, and surface PortfolioFuture research.Discussing growth, discovery, distribution, and platform strategy directly with the founder as PortfolioFuture expands its audience and capabilities.QualificationsPortfolioFuture is particularly interested in candidates with significant professional experience in search, AI, organic growth, digital platforms, content discovery, information retrieval, or related fields.Strong candidates may come from major technology companies, search engines, AI companies, leading digital platforms, or organizations with substantial expertise in organic discovery and information distribution.Experience at companies such as Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Meta, Amazon, Anthropic, Perplexity, or other major technology, search, AI, or digital-platform companies is especially relevant.Preferred experience may include:Demonstrated experience building, scaling, or advising organic search and discovery strategies.Strong understanding of technical SEO, content SEO, search intent, site architecture, internal linking, structured data, and organic acquisition.Experience working directly with search engines, recommendation systems, information retrieval systems, AI assistants, large language models, or related discovery technologies.Experience with generative engine optimization, AI search visibility, answer-engine optimization, or strategies designed to improve how brands, research, and information appear within AI-generated answers.Experience developing content strategies designed to build long-term search authority and topical relevance.Strong understanding of how modern search and AI systems identify, interpret, rank, retrieve, summarize, and recommend information.Experience with analytics, search-performance measurement, attribution, organic acquisition funnels, and AI referral measurement.Ability to translate changes in search technology, AI platforms, and digital-distribution systems into practical growth strategies.Experience working with financial services, fintech, asset management, wealth management, investment research, or other research-intensive industries is helpful but not required.Candidates with advanced academic credentials, including a PhD in information retrieval, computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, search systems, recommendation systems, or a related field, are also highly relevant.A PhD is not required. Practical experience building or working with large-scale search, AI, discovery, or digital-distribution systems is particularly valuable for this advisory role.Advisory ExperienceThe Advisor will have exposure to real investment-industry applications involving PortfolioFuture’s fund research, manager research, SEO strategy, AI discovery strategy, content architecture, digital distribution, and audience-development initiatives.The role offers the opportunity to apply expertise from search, AI, technology, and digital platforms to a growing investment technology and research company.The Advisor will help shape how investment research, fund analysis, asset managers, and lesser-known investment products are discovered across traditional search engines, AI assistants, answer engines, and emerging professional investment workflows.The role is particularly suited to experienced professionals interested in applying expertise from major technology, search, AI, or digital-platform environments to the investment-management industry.More important than any single credential is the ability to provide informed strategic guidance on how high-quality investment research and investment products can reach the investors and professionals most likely to find them relevant.
