Some people want to become a trusted adviser.Ngamuru Advisory is growing carefully and sustainably so we are recruiting for a small number of Adviser and Senior Adviser roles.Adviser | $90,000 to $120,000This may be the right opportunity if you are considering moving from government, project delivery, procurement, commercial or policy work into advisory and you want to build your advisory foundations.As an Adviser, you'll:Work closely with government clients on complex projects and initiativesContribute to commercial advisory, procurement and contract management engagementsSupport project planning, stakeholder engagement and deliveryDevelop your consulting and advisory capability alongside experienced practitionersSenior Adviser | $120,000 to $180,000This may be the right opportunity if you already bring strong experience across government, consulting, commercial or project delivery work and you are ready to own workstreams or lead engagements.As a Senior Adviser, you'll:Lead complex advisory engagements across government environmentsInfluence decision-makers and provide advice that stands up to scrutinyGuide and mentor team membersBuild and strengthen client relationshipsContribute to business development and practice growthHelp shape organisational capability and thought leadershipWhat we're looking for:We're interested in people who combine strong analytical thinking with sound judgement, commercial awareness and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.You'll bring:Experience in government, consulting, procurement, commercial, policy, project delivery or a related advisory environment.Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to navigate complexity.Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration and influencing skills.Sound judgement, accountability and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes.A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Confidence using modern workplace technology, including Microsoft 365 and AI-enabled tools.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEFor Adviser opportunities, we're looking for people with relevant experience in advisory, project, commercial or client-facing roles. Formal qualifications are valued, but equivalent professional experience is equally important.For Senior Adviser opportunities, you'll typically hold a bachelor's degree (or higher), or bring at least eight years' relevant industry experience, along with a demonstrated track record of leading advisory work and influencing outcomes in complex environments.LOCATIONCanberra is our primary location, with our presence in Melbourne and Brisbane growing. Candidates in other locations may also be considered.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to obtain a minimum Baseline security clearance (NV1 desirable).
