As an AEO/SEO Content Strategist, your role is to identify and understand those moments by analyzing player search behavior across traditional search engines, AI-powered search experiences, and other relevant discovery surfaces.You'll transform player confusion into actionable search insights that help the client better understand where players struggle, prioritize those insights based on player impact, and develop evidence-based content recommendations that solve those problems.Reporting to the AEO/SEO Lead, you'll help build Search Intelligence capability by identifying player problems, generating and documenting search insights, and partnering to shape client's long-term content strategy across its game ecosystem.Success is measured by your ability to consistently transform player confusion into meaningful search insights that become trusted institutional knowledge, influence client's content strategy, and improve how players discover authoritative information across search engines, AI-powered experiences, and client's ecosystem.What You'll DoTurn Player Confusion into Search InsightsAnalyze player search behavior across traditional search engines, AI-powered search experiences, client-owned properties, and other relevant discovery surfaces.Analyze keyword, search performance, and AI query data across client's titles.Segment and cluster search data using player-centric methodologies, including player skill level, player intent, player lifecycle, gameplay topics, and other behavioral dimensions.Identify patterns that reveal where players are confused, blocked, or unable to find authoritative information.Produce evidence-based search insights that explain what players are struggling to accomplish and why.Develop hypotheses that explain observed player search behaviors and validate them using available data.Build and Maintain client's Search Intelligence RepositoryDocument validated search insights in a structured repository to build institutional knowledge over time.Maintain insight quality, supporting evidence, confidence levels, and historical outcomes.Identify recurring themes and player problems across games, brands, and time periods.Continuously expand client's understanding of player search behavior.Develop Content RecommendationsTranslate validated search insights into strategic content recommendations.Identify gaps where client's content does not sufficiently answer player questions or resolve player confusion.Recommend improvements to existing content or opportunities for new content based on player needs and supporting evidence.Prioritize recommendations based on player impact, search evidence, and strategic value.Develop Content BriefsCreate evidence-based content briefs that communicate:Player AEO/SEO Lead to evolve client's AEO/SEO content strategy roadmap.Identify recurring player problems and emerging search themes that inform future content investments.Provide ongoing strategic recommendations based on changes in player behavior and the search ecosystem.Measure ImpactMeasure whether implemented content changes improve discoverability and reduce player confusion.Evaluate search and engagement performance following content updates.Continuously refine recommendations based on outcomes and newly observed search behavior.Execute Core SEO WorkPerform ongoing keyword research, SERP analysis, and competitive search analysis across the client titles and web properties.Conduct on-page SEO reviews and recommend improvements to page titles, meta descriptions, headings, copy, internal linking, and information architecture.Identify content, indexing, discoverability, and other SEO issues that may prevent players or search systems from finding authoritative information.Support SEO audits, content optimization initiatives, and site launches or migrations as needed.Monitor search performance and identify opportunities or regressions across priority experiences.Partner with product, engineering, design, and content teams to ensure SEO recommendations are implemented correctly and validated after launch.Required Qualifications:4+ years of experience in SEO, search strategy, content strategy, search analytics, audience insights, UX research, digital strategy, or a related analytical discipline.Demonstrated experience analyzing large or complex search datasets, including keyword, query, traffic, impression, click-through rate, ranking, or AI-search visibility data.Strong understanding of search intent, keyword segmentation and clustering, information needs, and how search behavior can be used to identify user problems or unmet needs.Experience translating quantitative and qualitative search data into clear insights, hypotheses, strategic recommendations, and content opportunities.Experience developing or influencing content strategies based on audience behavior, search demand, or performance data.Working knowledge of modern search ecosystems, including traditional search engines, AI-powered search experiences, answer engines, and how users discover information across multiple surfaces.Hands-on experience with Google Search Console and web analytics platforms such as GA4, plus SEO/search intelligence tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, BrightEdge, Similarweb, or comparable platforms.It’s our
