The Air Medical Crew works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and an On-Line Medical Control (OLMC) Physician. Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP)Requirements:Minimum 2 years of overall ACP experience.Current registration in good standing with the applicable provincial or territorial regulatory body, with the ability to obtain and maintain registration with the College of Paramedics of Manitoba (CPMB).Previous medical transport experience is an asset. Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience in intensive/critical care, emergency care, or aeromedicine is preferred.Current registration in good standing with the applicable provincial or territorial regulatory body, with the ability to obtain and maintain registration with the Manitoba Association of Registered Respiratory Therapists (MARRT).Previous medical transport experience is an asset. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide care as part of a multidisciplinary aeromedical transport team.Perform rapid patient assessment and clinical intervention.Support the stabilization and safe transport of ill or injured patients.Provide care to patients of all age categories during interfacility transfers.Collaborate with RNs, ACPs, RRTs, and the OLMC Physician as part of the Air Medical Crew.
