Seasonal offers and treatment packages are regularly available to make aesthetic care more accessible to clients.Role Description This is a self employed on-site Aesthetic Doctor role based in Edinburgh. The Aesthetic Doctor will perform non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as injectable treatments (e.g., Anti wrinkle injections, dermal fillers), skin rejuvenation procedures, and other evidence-based aesthetic interventions in line with clinic protocols. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough consultations, assessing client needs, developing personalized treatment plans, obtaining informed consent, and documenting all treatments accurately. The role involves monitoring treatment outcomes, managing follow-up appointments, ensuring client safety, and maintaining compliance with relevant clinical and regulatory standards. The Aesthetic Doctor will also collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team, support client education on treatment options and post-care, and contribute to continuous improvement of clinical services.QualificationsCurrent medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) with full registration and license to practice in the UK, and completion of relevant postgraduate training.Formal training and hands-on experience in aesthetic medicine, including injectable treatments and skin rejuvenation procedures.Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to take detailed medical histories, evaluate suitability for aesthetic procedures, and manage risks and contraindications.Excellent communication and consultation skills, with a focus on client-centered care, informed consent, and clear explanation of treatment options and aftercare.Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, and adherence to applicable clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards in aesthetic medicine.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to a respectful and inclusive workplace, and support a high-quality client experience.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a busy appointment schedule, maintain accurate clinical records, and follow clinic protocols consistently.Previous experience in a private clinic or medi-spa environment and additional certifications in aesthetic procedures are advantageous.
