Now we are searching for: Product Delivery Engineer An exciting opportunity has arisen as Product Delivery Engineer, reporting to the Engineering Manager in the Power Systems - GCS Energy & Control. You will be part of the GCS (Global Customer Support) division which is responsible for delivering Kongsberg Maritimes services, upgrades, spare parts, retrofits, and technical solutions after the original equipment (switchboards, drives, energy storage, rotating machinery) has been delivered and commissioned.As a Product Delivery Engineer you will be responsible for the technical execution of project-specific deliveries, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that we meet customer expectations and deliver with the right quality, on time and in line with applicable requirements.The role may also include responsibility as Delivery Lead for assigned projects or product scope. In that capacity, you will coordinate technical follow-up, interfaces and progress across engineering, production, testing and commissioning.To succeed in this role, you should enjoy working across disciplines, take ownership of technical scope, and combine structured execution with sound engineering judgement. You communicate clearly, collaborate well with others, and contribute with specialist competence in your field. Main Responsibilities1. Managing Aftermarket ProjectsHandle retrofit and modernization projects.Coordinate product upgrades, breaker replacements, protection relay upgrades, etc.Ensure delivery of spare parts and engineering modifications.Manage project schedules, costs, and customer expectations.Ensure compliance with customer requirements, class rules, statutory requirements and internal standards2. Technical Engineering SupportReview existing installations and documentation.Define technical solutions for upgrades or modifications.Verify compatibility between old and new equipment.Create technical procedures and clarifications for customers and service teams.Produce necessary deliverables and documentation needed for production.Prepare, review and follow up technical documentation such as drawings, specifications, calculations and test documentation3. Customer InterfaceAct as the primary technical contact during project execution.Participate in customer meetings.Handle technical queries and resolve delivery issues.Support quotation and sales teams with technical input.4.
