Aftersales Support Technician

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Marine Technician with expertise in Sailing Yachts to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both sailing and power yachts to the highest standards. In addition, the ideal candidate will have sufficient experience to be able to provide technical support of the highest standard to yacht racing teams and blue-water cruisers.Marine Technician ResponsibilitiesPerform repairs and maintenance on sailing and power yachts, including engines, electronics, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and rigging systems.Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with sailing and power yachts.Install new equipment and systems on sailing and power yachts.Conduct sea trials to ensure that all systems are operating at peak performance.Provide technical support and advice to yacht owners, crew, and yacht racing teams.Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.Sales & Brokerage RequirementsAt least 3 years of experience working as a Marine Technician specializing in sailing yachts.Strong knowledge of sailing yacht systems, including engines, electronics, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and rigging systems.Good knowledge of power yacht systems will be considered favourably.Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with sailing and power yachts.Experience with the installation of new equipment and systems on sailing yachts.Yacht racing experience is preferred.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong customer service skills.Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
