Agency Representative

An opportunity has arisen for interested candidates to join Carmelo Caruana Company Limited as an Agency Representative.Reporting to the Agency Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the agency and ship-to-ship operations. Working part of a small and tight-knit team, you will be helping out to ensure an efficient delivery of service to our clients.Key Responsibilities:Vessel Operations & Clearance: Handle Portnet entries, pre-arrival forms, and documentation, ensuring seamless port entry, clearance, and supervision during vessel calls.Communication & Coordination: Provide real-time updates to owners/charterers on vessel status, berthing, schedules, and operations; maintain strong relationships with vessel officers and owners.Documentation & Logistics: Pick up and deliver ship documentation, spares, and couriers; maintain complete and organized Ship Files.Financial & Administrative Support: Send Proforma DAs to Finance post-departure and follow up on any vessel, equipment, or third-party damage claims.Commercial Growth & Team Support: Assist with operations team duties, support vessel service sales, track market trends, and identify new client opportunities.Renumeration package and benefits will be discussed during the first interview.All applications will be dealt with strict confidence.
