Team members work on impactful solutions that support mission-critical processes and enable customers to embrace the future of digital innovation.Role Description The Agentic AI Engineer role at APTWatch is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying agentic AI systems that can autonomously plan, act, and collaborate across enterprise environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and integrating AI agents with existing software platforms, designing workflows and tools for autonomous decision-making, and optimizing models for robustness, safety, and performance. The Agentic AI Engineer will collaborate with product, cybersecurity, and platform engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions, implement monitoring and evaluation pipelines, and ensure that deployed agents meet reliability and compliance standards. The role also involves researching emerging agentic AI frameworks, experimenting with new architectures, and contributing to technical documentation and best practices.Qualifications Strong skills in Python and modern software engineering practices (testing, version control, CI/CD) for building and maintaining AI-enabled systems.Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and working knowledge of large language models and their tool/agent frameworks.Background in designing or implementing autonomous or agentic systems, including orchestration of multiple agents, planning, and task decomposition.Understanding of cloud platforms and distributed systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying and scaling AI services in production environments.Knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy, and AI safety principles relevant to enterprise-grade intelligent automation and secure AI applications.Ability to translate business and product requirements into technical specifications, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Comfort collaborating in cross-functional teams and communicating complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience building enterprise software or working within large organizations undergoing digital transformation is a strong plus.Familiarity with MLOps, observability tools, and evaluation frameworks for monitoring agent performance and reliability is beneficial.
