Agentic AI Product Lead£80k-90k + Equity OptionsLondon | Hybrid (1-2 days/week) | Full-timeA pre-product-market-fit AI startup is looking for a Product Lead to own what gets built, changed, or stopped for a tool that helps enterprises deploy AI more safely and cost-effectively. You'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with a small Science and Engineering team.What You'd DoOwn the roadmap and be accountable for outcomesTalk to customers directly and turn what you learn into testable product hypothesesRun the cadence between Product, Science and Engineering — clear priorities, real decisions, closed workPrototype fast yourself, then work with Engineering to ship what's validatedTake decision rights on roadmap, scope and priorities after an initial period building context alongside the foundersWhat They're Looking ForA technical/engineering background, having personally shipped AI or agentic productsComfortable prototyping yourself (Python or similar)Real 0-to-1 product experience: founding PM, early-stage lead, ex-founder, or technical consultant who owned what got builtDeep AI fluency: LLM APIs, agentic systems, evaluation, traces, and how these things fail in productionFamiliarity with tools like LangChain/LangGraph, LLM evaluation platforms (e.g. LangSmith, Braintrust), and experience across multiple LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source)Hands-on customer discovery or user research experienceYou move from ambiguous problems to evidence-backed decisions without waiting for consensus on every callYou listen before proposing solutions and change your mind when the evidence changesEnterprise AI deployment, evaluation or observability experience a plusFormal AI education is a plus, but lived experience with agentic AI matters moreTeam & EnvironmentSmall founding team, CEO as your direct lineFirst 3 months: shape strategy alongside founders as they build context with youAfter that: full ownership of roadmap, scope and prioritisationFounders stay focused on commercial strategy and scientific directionFast-moving, evidence-driven decision-makingGrowth path toward CPO as the company scalesInterested?
