FolioX offers an environment for learning, experimentation, and meaningful contributions to high-impact products.Role Description The Agentic Development Intern is a full-time remote role focused on supporting the design, development, and evaluation of AI agents for logistics and dispatch systems. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with programming and software development activities, contributing to prototypes and tools that demonstrate agentic behavior, and analyzing performance metrics to improve decision-making models. The intern will help research and document requirements, collaborate with product and technical teams to refine features, and communicate findings and recommendations clearly in writing and in meetings. Depending on interest and skill, the role may also involve supporting technical demos, assisting in sales or partner discussions with clear explanations of capabilities, and gathering user feedback to inform future iterations. This role offers mentorship and exposure to modern AI technologies, agent-based systems, and real-world supply chain use cases.Qualifications Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, evaluate experiments, and solve complex problems.Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders in writing and verbally.Foundational software development skills, including familiarity with modern development tools, version control, and collaborative coding practices.Programming skills in one or more languages commonly used in AI and backend systems (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar).Interest or experience in sales-support activities, such as preparing technical materials, contributing to demos, or engaging with users and partners.Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Comfort working independently in a remote setting, with strong time management and self-organization.Exposure to or interest in AI agents, reinforcement learning, optimization, or logistics and supply chain domains is a plus.
