Can you open new international apparel buyers — not just manage existing orders?Maxonic Consulting is searching for an International Business Development professional for an established garment manufacturer based in Gurugram.This company manufactures woven and knit apparel across women’s, men’s and kids’ categories and is looking to accelerate its international growth by adding new buyers and new export orders.The roleYou will identify and develop international brands, retailers, buying houses, sourcing organisations, importers and private-label customers and take opportunities from:first contact → enquiry → product development/sampling → costing → negotiation → commercial order.You will work closely with merchandising, product development, costing and manufacturing teams to convert buyer opportunities.We are particularly interested in people who:have worked in garment/apparel exports, buying houses or international sourcing;understand garments, fabrics, costing, sampling and manufacturing;have strong international buyer relationships; andcan demonstrate new buyers/business personally developed, rather than only accounts handled after acquisition.Experience with women’s/kids’ apparel, wovens/knits and Europe/UK/US markets would be useful.Location: IMT Manesar, GurugramIf you have personally helped create new international garment business, we would like to understand which buyers you developed and how you won them.
