Location: Al Ain & Abu Dhabi, UAEReports To: Owner / Managing DirectorRole PurposeWe are seeking an experienced, highly responsible and hands-on Agricultural Operations Manager to take overall responsibility for the management, productivity, performance and development of approximately five agricultural farms located across Al Ain and Abu Dhabi, UAE.The farms include:- Date palm farms- Crop and vegetable farms- Fodder and feed crop farms- Irrigation and water management systems- Agricultural machinery and equipment- Farm workers, supervisors and operational teamsThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating day-to-day agricultural operations across multiple farm locations, ensuring efficient production, effective manpower utilization, proper maintenance of agricultural assets, and strict control of operational costs.This is a field-based, multi-farm management position, not an office-only role.

The Agricultural Operations Manager will be required to regularly travel between the farms in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi, conduct physical inspections, monitor agricultural activities, identify operational issues, and ensure that all farms are operating efficiently and according to established production plans and standards.The successful candidate must have strong practical agricultural knowledge, excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple farm locations while providing regular operational and performance reports directly to the Owner / Managing Director.Key Requirements- Minimum 8–10 years of proven experience in agricultural or farm operations management.- Strong experience managing multiple farms or agricultural sites simultaneously.- Previous experience in the UAE agricultural sector is highly preferred.- Strong practical knowledge of date palm cultivation, crop production, vegetable farming and fodder/feed crops.- Good understanding of irrigation systems, water management and agricultural practices.- Experience managing agricultural machinery, vehicles, equipment and maintenance schedules.- Proven ability to manage and supervise farm workers, supervisors and operational teams.- Strong experience in cost control, budgeting, resource planning and reducing operational waste.- Ability to monitor productivity and establish measurable KPIs for farm operations.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a hands-on approach.- Ability to prepare regular operational, production, manpower and cost reports for the Owner / Managing Director.- Must be willing and able to travel regularly between farm locations in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi.- Valid UAE driving license is required.- Ability to work outdoors and supervise operations in demanding agricultural conditions.- Strong communication, leadership and team-management skills.- High level of responsibility, integrity and accountability.- Ability to work independently and make operational decisions when required.Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering or a related field.- UAE/GCC experience in managing large-scale agricultural or private farm operations.- Experience with modern irrigation, fertigation, pest control and crop management systems.- Experience working directly with farm owners or senior management.Core CompetenciesMulti-Farm Management | Agricultural Operations | Date Palm Management | Crop Production | Irrigation & Water Management | Manpower Management | Machinery & Equipment | Cost Control | Budgeting | Production Planning | KPI Management | Problem Solving | Leadership
