You will follow the requirements defined by the Product Specialist and Sales Team in conjunction with the greater Sakata international group. What will you do?Seasonal trial planning and implementationTrial layout planningEvaluation of TrialsPresent data to Product Development team.Maintain regular contact with Sales Representatives, distributors and growers to ensure trials are managed successfully and evaluated on time.Crop ManagementDevelopment of crop and variety sales strategyImplementation of crop strategiesMaintain Crop and variety knowledgeProduct training for Sales Representatives and DistributorsProviding Technical Support Where will you work?You will be based in Lanseria, Gauteng. Responsible for your crop in the whole Southern and East Africa regionYour manager is based at Sakata’s head office in Gauteng.Do you fit this profile? You have:a tertiary qualificationa good knowledge of horticulture/agronomy and irrigationa good level of English, both written and spokena valid driver’s licenseYou are:willing to work flexible hourwilling to travel extensively early mornings/late afternoons/eveningsovernight if operationally required (B&B/Guesthouse)willing to travel overseasable to work under pressurecomputer literateable to work within deadlines, with good personal time managementa team player who finds it easy to communicate and collaborate within the team and with other departmentsDo you want to know more about the company?You will be part of Sakata’s Southern and East African Product Development team.
