The organization encourages staff development and supports a collaborative environment where healthcare professionals can grow their careers.Role Description The Ahli Gizi (Nutritionist) will work on-site at RS Mata Ramata in Denpasar in a full-time capacity. This role is responsible for assessing patients’ nutritional status, developing individualized nutrition plans, and supporting clinical teams in managing nutrition-related aspects of eye health and recovery. Daily activities include conducting nutrition assessments, counseling patients and families, monitoring dietary intake, and adjusting meal plans in line with medical recommendations and hospital policies. The Ahli Gizi will collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure nutrition interventions are integrated into overall treatment plans and documented accurately. The role also involves participating in health education, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to quality and safety initiatives related to hospital nutrition services.Qualifications Formal education as a Nutritionist (Ahli Gizi), preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.Valid professional registration or license as required by local regulations to practice as an Ahli Gizi.Knowledge of clinical nutrition, medical nutrition therapy, and hospital dietary standards, including experience with patient nutrition assessment and planning.Strong communication and counseling skills to explain nutrition plans clearly to patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.Ability to work collaboratively in a hospital setting, manage multiple cases, maintain accurate documentation, and adhere to clinical protocols.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical practice.Willingness to learn about eye-health-specific nutrition needs and participate in ongoing professional development.Prior experience in a hospital or clinical environment is an advantage, especially in ophthalmology or related specialties.
