An AI agent follows instructions, uses connected tools, and passes uncertain results to a person for review. You turn requests from colleagues into tested workflows that support their daily work. You build these workflows, check their outputs, and explain how people should use them. A technology team lead guides your choices and reviews changes before the team uses them. In this fully remote position, you work from home and share progress through clear written updates. The role pays a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Turn incoming requests into a clear build plan using a work management tool such as ClickUp to track progress. Put urgent fixes before new builds.
- Ask colleagues which steps they repeat by hand and what a useful result looks like. Write down inputs, decisions, and where a person must review results.
- Choose a simple approach using an AI assistant such as Gemini to interpret instructions and draft responses. Define what the agent may do and when it must stop.
- Build connected steps with an automation tool such as n8n, which moves information and starts agreed actions automatically. Avoid requiring clicks between routine steps.
- Write, test, and improve prompts, the instructions given to AI tools. Keep useful versions with notes explaining their purpose and limits.
- Check every AI answer or result before it is used or shared. Test normal requests, missing details, and unclear instructions; correct faults before release.
- Add checks and alerts for failed steps or doubtful answers. Route exceptions to a person with enough context to decide what happens next.
- Write short guides covering each workflow, its tools, its owner, and its review points. Show colleagues how to use it safely.
- Watch new workflows after release, investigate problems, and make small fixes. Share progress and suggest improvements based on repeated issues.
- Judge quality by reliable runs, checked AI results, clear notes, and quick fixes. Confirm the finished workflow matches the request before closing it.
