We are seeking an AI & Automation Lead to drive this transformation and build the systems, tools and processes that will underpin the future growth of the company.This is a unique opportunity to establish and lead AI adoption across a growing organisation, working directly with the founders and leadership team to deliver meaningful commercial impact.The RoleThe AI & Automation Lead will be responsible for identifying, designing and implementing AI-powered solutions across every area of the business.You will own the AI roadmap and work closely with stakeholders across recruitment, sales, marketing, operations and finance to improve productivity, enhance decision-making and create competitive advantage.This role combines strategy, product ownership and hands-on delivery. The successful candidate will be expected to build solutions themselves while also shaping the longer-term technology vision of the business.Key Areas of ResponsibilityAI Strategy & AdoptionDevelop and execute the company’s AI and automation roadmap.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and profitability through AI.Champion AI adoption across the business.Train and support employees in the effective use of AI tools.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical applications.Internal Product DevelopmentBuild AI-powered applications and tools for recruiters, consultants and leadership teams.Develop internal GPTs, copilots and knowledge assistants.Create centralised information and knowledge management systems.Build solutions that improve collaboration and information accessibility.Recruitment Process AutomationAutomate candidate sourcing, screening and engagement workflows.Build intelligent candidate matching and recommendation engines.Develop AI-assisted CV review and candidate profiling tools.Create market mapping and talent intelligence solutions.Enhance recruiter productivity through workflow automation.CRM, ATS & Data InfrastructureLead the development and enhancement of CRM capabilities.Build integrations between CRM, ATS, email, LinkedIn, marketing and finance systems.Create a centralised data ecosystem.Improve data quality, reporting and accessibility.Implement AI-driven data enrichment and maintenance processes.Commercial & Marketing EnablementDevelop lead generation and prospecting automation tools.Build AI-powered marketing and content workflows.Create commercial dashboards and revenue attribution systems.Support business development through market intelligence and analytics.Enhance client engagement through technology-led solutions.Business Intelligence & ReportingDevelop real-time dashboards and performance reporting.Build forecasting and predictive analytics tools.Create automated management reporting.Deliver actionable insights to leadership teams.Support strategic planning through data analysis.Process Improvement & Operational ExcellenceReview existing business processes and identify automation opportunities.Eliminate manual and repetitive administrative tasks.Improve operational scalability and efficiency.Standardise workflows and best practices.Measure and report on automation impact and ROI.Skills & ExperienceEssentialProven experience delivering AI and automation solutions in a commercial environment.Strong Python development skills.Experience working with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or similar LLM platforms.Experience building APIs, integrations and workflow automations.Knowledge of CRM and enterprise business systems.Experience working with databases and cloud-based technologies.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to translate business challenges into practical technology solutions.DesirableExperience within recruitment, staffing, HR technology or professional services.Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, n8n, Make, Zapier or similar automation tools.Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases and AI agents.Experience building dashboards and BI solutions.Front-end application development experience.Experience managing external developers or technology vendors.Success MeasuresWithin the first 12 months, you will:Deliver measurable productivity improvements across recruitment and operations.Reduce manual administration through automation.Establish a centralised AI and data ecosystem.Improve CRM adoption, usability and reporting.Launch multiple AI-powered tools used daily across the business.Support revenue growth through improved commercial intelligence and lead generation.Position Aventus as one of the most technologically advanced talent businesses in the GCC.Reporting LineReporting directly to the Founders and Leadership Team, this role will play a key part in shaping the future direction of Aventus.
