AI & Business Process Automation Manager

About the RoleWe are looking for an AI & Business Process Automation Manager who will work closely with all departments across the organization to understand, streamline, automate, and track their day-to-day processes.The person will be responsible for identifying operational gaps, building AI-powered workflows and tracking systems, and creating a centralized mechanism through which management can monitor tasks, deadlines, dependencies, productivity, and overall departmental performance.This role requires a strong combination of IT knowledge, process understanding, AI tools, automation, data management, and stakeholder management.Key Responsibilities:Process Management & Optimization:Work closely with HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, E-commerce, Supply Chain, Operations, and other departments to understand their workflows.Map existing processes and identify gaps, delays, duplication, and inefficiencies.Standardize and streamline processes across departments.Develop SOPs, workflows, trackers, and process documentation.2.AI & Automation:Identify opportunities where AI and automation can improve business processes.Build AI-enabled workflows to automate repetitive tasks, reminders, follow-ups, reporting, and data tracking.Use AI tools to create systems that can monitor task completion and highlight pending or delayed activities.Develop automated alerts and escalation mechanisms for overdue tasks and critical dependencies.Continuously explore new AI tools and technologies that can improve organizational efficiency.3.Centralized Work Tracking System:Build and manage a centralized AI-powered task and process tracking system for the organization.Ensure every department has clearly defined tasks, owners, timelines, priorities, and deliverables.Create dashboards for management to track:Pending tasksCompleted tasksDelayed activitiesDepartment-wise performanceTask ownershipDeadlines and dependenciesProcess bottlenecksProvide management with regular insights and reports on organizational productivity.4.Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the bridge between Business Teams and Technology.Conduct regular meetings with department heads to understand requirements and process challenges.Convert business requirements into technology/automation solutions.Train employees on newly implemented systems and workflows.Ensure adoption and consistent usage of the systems created.Key Deliverables:Organization-wide process mappingCentralized task & workflow tracking systemAI-powered dashboards and reportingAutomated reminders and escalation systemsDepartment-wise process trackersAutomated MIS and management reportsSOPs and process documentationProcess improvement and automation roadmapRequired Skills & Experience4–7 years of experience in Business Process Automation, IT Operations, Digital Transformation, Business Technology, Process Excellence, or a similar role.Strong understanding of IT systems, business applications, databases, APIs, integrations, and automation.Hands-on experience with AI tools and automation platforms.Experience in building dashboards, workflows, trackers, or automated reporting systems.Strong understanding of business processes and cross-functional operations.Ability to work with multiple departments and senior stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good understanding of data management and reporting.Ability to convert business requirements into practical technology solutions.Good To HaveExperience with tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, Make, Power BI, Looker Studio, Notion, Monday.com, ClickUp, Jira, or similar platforms.Knowledge of SQL, APIs, webhooks, or basic scripting/programming.Experience implementing AI agents or AI-powered workflow automation.Experience in a D2C, FMCG, Beauty, Retail, E-commerce, or fast-growing organization.Experience managing digital transformation or process automation projects.What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is not just an IT professional, but someone who can understand how the business works end-to-end and use technology and AI to make it more organized, measurable, and efficient.The ideal candidate should be able to look at a process and ask:“Can this be automated?
