AI & Data Engineer – CBRS

Job Purpose:The AI & Data Engineer – CBRS (Central Bank Reporting System) is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of CBRS (Central Bank Reporting System) solutions, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient regulatory reporting. The role serves as a key technical resource within the CBRS delivery team, delivering ETL processes, PL/SQL development, calculation engines, validation logic, reconciliation processes, and reporting components while maintaining compliance with SAMA regulatory requirements and supporting multiple banking implementations.Key Accountabilities:Design, develop, and maintain CBRS application components, including ETL processes, reporting modules, and regulatory data integration solutions.Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and database objects to support CBRS requirements.Design and implement calculation, validation, reconciliation, and aggregation logic for RMS, Non-RMS, and regulatory API reporting.Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance across regulatory reporting processes.Support source-to-target mapping, data transformation, and regulatory reporting integration requirements.Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects identified during SIT, UAT, production support, and post-implementation activities.Collaborate with business, compliance, risk, and technical stakeholders to translate regulatory reporting requirements into technical solutions.Support testing activities, deployment cycles, release management, and production support operations.Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and best-practice recommendations to development team members.Maintain high-quality technical documentation, including design specifications, mapping documents, deployment guides, and support documentation.Participate in sprint planning, effort estimation, technical reviews, and delivery governance activities.Ensure adherence to coding standards, development methodologies, and quality assurance practices.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance platform performance, reporting quality, and delivery efficiency.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.Additional certifications in Data Engineering, Database Development, Regulatory Reporting, or Financial Systems.Minimum Experience:+3 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Development, Regulatory Reporting Systems, or Banking Technology solutions.Proven hands-on experience delivering CBRS implementation, enhancement, or support projects.Experience developing regulatory reporting solutions within banking, financial services, or regulated industries.Experience working with regulatory reporting frameworks and enterprise data integration initiatives.Exposure to agile delivery environments and production support activities .Job-Specific Skills:CBRS (Central Bank Reporting System).ETL Design, Development, and Support.Advanced PL/SQL Development.SQL Performance Tuning and Optimization.Data Modeling and Data Architecture.Source-to-Target Mapping.Regulatory Reporting Solutions.SAMA Reporting Requirements.RMS and Non-RMS Reporting.API-Based Regulatory Reporting.Data Validation and Reconciliation Frameworks.Data Aggregation and Calculation Engines.Reporting and Analytics Development.Data Quality Controls and Monitoring.Debugging, Troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis.Version Control and Release Management.Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).Testing Support (SIT, UAT, Production).
