Kronospan is focused on achieving operational excellence with relentless attention to safety and sustainability.To support our continued growth and operational transformation, we are looking for an AI & Process Digitalisation Specialist to develop, implement and continuously improve AI and machine learning solutions across our Riga operations.Job DescriptionIn this pivotal role, you will drive digital transformation initiatives by leveraging artificial intelligence and process optimisation to enhance operational efficiency across the business.Your responsibilities will be to:Develop, implement and optimise AI and machine learning solutions for our business processesAnalyse large datasets to identify optimisation and efficiency opportunitiesIntegrate AI systems into existing IT infrastructureEvaluate and select appropriate AI tools and frameworksCollaborate with operational departments to build data-driven solutionsMonitor, maintain and continuously improve deployed AI modelsSupport the automation of business processes through AIQualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or equivalentSolid knowledge of machine learning, deep learning and data analysisProficiency in Python, R or JavaExperience with common frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or scikit-learnFamiliarity with databases and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS or GCP)Analytical mindset with a structured, independent approach to problem-solvingStrong team player with good communication skillsFluent English; LatvianExperience with Generative AI (LLMs, Prompt Engineering)Knowledge of MLOps and AI model deploymentBackground in Data Engineering or Big Data technologiesAdditional InformationChallenging, responsible role with real development opportunitiesStructured onboarding programmeCollaborative working environment with flat hierarchiesSubsidised canteen, free parking and EV charging stations on siteMonthly gross salary is from EUR 3,500
