AI and Technology Teacher Academic Year 2026-2027

Job PurposeResponsible for teaching students foundational and applied concepts of artificial intelligence, with a strong emphasis on ethical use, critical thinking, and real-world applications. This role supports students in understanding how AI impacts society while developing computational thinking, creativity, and digital literacy skills.Main DutiesPlan and deliver engaging AI lessons aligned with secondary curriculum standards.Teach core AI concepts including machine learning basics, data and algorithms, automation, and generative AI.Guide students in hands-on, project-based learning using appropriate AI tools.Promote ethical AI use, digital citizenship, data privacy, and awareness of bias in AI systems.Assess student learning through projects, portfolios, presentations, and formative assessments.Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs and abilities.Integrate AI learning with other subjects such as mathematics, science, ICT, and humanities.Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.Collaborate with leadership and IT teams on AI policy implementation and digital innovation initiativesStay updated with developments in AI and educational technology.Provide guidance to students on future pathways and careers related to AI and technology
