AI Automation Engineer (CI/CD Migration, Octopus Deploy)

AI Automation Engineer — CI/CD Migration - 6 Month ContractPay: $70 - $80 per hour W-2 Only - Location: Phoenix, AZ / Portland, OR / Cincinnati, OH (remote/local within one of these markets)CBTS is seeking an AI Engineer to lead the conversion of existing TeamCity CI pipelines to GitHub Actions, while working alongside a three-person DevOps team supporting the broader build/release environment. This role is focused specifically on the migration effort rather than general day-to-day pipeline operations.ResponsibilitiesAssess existing TeamCity CI configurations, build steps, and dependenciesDesign and execute a migration plan converting TeamCity pipelines to GitHub ActionsApply AI-assisted tooling/approaches to accelerate pipeline analysis, conversion, and validation where applicableValidate converted pipelines for functional parity with existing TeamCity buildsPartner with the DevOps team to hand off converted pipelines into ongoing GitHub Actions/Octopus Deploy operationsDocument the migration approach, mapping decisions, and any manual conversion steps for future referenceIdentify and flag edge cases or legacy TeamCity configurations that require custom handling

Requirements
