AI Business Analyst — Full-Time, On-Site Client Role

About the roleWe are seeking a full-time AI Business Analyst to work on-site with a client to identify, design, and evaluate practical uses of generative AI. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand current workflows, turn opportunities into clear requirements, and test solutions that improve efficiency, quality, or decision-making.This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who can move comfortably between stakeholder discussions, process analysis, prompt design, prototyping, and evaluation.Key responsibilitiesInterview stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, requirements, and measures of success.Map current and proposed processes, user journeys, and points where AI or automation could help.Prioritize AI use cases based on business value, feasibility, data availability, and risk.Write requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use-case specifications that delivery teams can act on.Design and refine prompts for research, summarization, classification, extraction, content creation, and analysis.Build lightweight prototypes using generative AI platforms and workflow automation tools.Develop test cases and evaluation criteria; review outputs for accuracy, consistency, relevance, and business value.Identify failure patterns and improve prompts, reference material, or workflow design based on test results.Document decisions, prompt versions, results, limitations, and recommendations for implementation.Apply appropriate human review, source verification, privacy, security, and responsible AI practices.Present findings and demonstrations clearly to client stakeholders and technical teams.Required qualificationsExperience in business analysis, process improvement, product delivery, or a related role.Strong stakeholder interviewing, requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation skills.Hands-on experience using generative AI tools to solve business problems, including prompt design and iterative testing.Ability to assess AI outputs critically and define practical ways to measure solution quality.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to clients.Ability to work independently, collaborate across business and technical teams, and manage work in an on-site client environment.Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentations, and process documentation tools.Preferred qualificationsExperience with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Codex, Claude Code, or VS Code.Experience with Power Automate, Make, n8n, or similar automation platforms.Working knowledge of SQL, Python, APIs, JSON, or data visualization.Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, knowledge assistants, or AI evaluation methods.Experience with Agile delivery, user stories, BPMN, Lean, or other process-improvement methods.
