AI data annotation specialist - Healthcare

We’re Hiring | AI Annotation Specialist – HealthcareIndiVillage is looking for an AI Annotation Specialist – Healthcare to support the development and evaluation of next-generation Healthcare Conversational AI solutions.In this role, you will work with healthcare customer interactions across voice, chat, email, SMS and digital channels, helping create high-quality datasets that improve virtual assistants, contact-centre automation, agent-assist tools, conversation summarization and next-best-action solutions.What You’ll DoAnnotate and validate healthcare customer interactions using defined annotation guidelines and taxonomies.Classify customer intents, sub-intents and healthcare workflows, including complex multi-intent conversations.Identify and label conversation stages, customer requests, agent responses, resolutions, follow-ups and escalation reasons.Transcribe and validate relevant portions of voice interactions.Annotate healthcare entities and key information while maintaining the original meaning and context.Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, completeness, clarity and alignment with customer intent.Review conversations with a strong focus on domain accuracy, customer empathy, privacy and compliance.Identify quality issues, document findings and escalate exceptions appropriately.Consistently apply annotation and quality standards across large datasets.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Information Management, Business Administration or a related field.Experience in one or more of the following:Healthcare payer operationsMember / Customer ServicesClaims ProcessingPrior AuthorizationProvider ServicesPharmacy BenefitsMedical BillingCare ManagementHealthcare Contact Centre OperationsStrong analytical, written comprehension and documentation skills.High attention to detail and ability to distinguish subtle differences in intent, context and response quality.Ability to work with confidential and sensitive healthcare information.Comfortable working with spreadsheets, quality trackers and web-based annotation tools.Good to HaveExperience in data annotation, QA, conversation analysis or AI model evaluation.Knowledge of healthcare payer terminology and workflows.Experience with intent classification, entity annotation, sentiment analysis, conversation summarization or response evaluation.Familiarity with annotation platforms such as Label Studio, Encord or similar tools.Understanding of Conversational AI, NLP, LLMs or human-feedback-based model improvement.Experience supporting multilingual or multicultural customer-service programs.Familiarity with relevant healthcare privacy, security and compliance requirements.Clinical experience or certification for assignments requiring clinical interpretation.Why This Role?This is an opportunity to bring your healthcare domain expertise into the world of AI and directly contribute to improving how intelligent systems understand, respond to and support healthcare customers.📍 Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Coimbatore💼 Role: AI Annotation Specialist – Healthcare🎯 Experience: 3 - 8 yearsIf you have strong healthcare domain knowledge and are interested in being part of the next generation of AI-powered healthcare solutions, we’d love to hear from you.
