Location: San Francisco – 5 days onsiteCompensation: Up to $250K base + equityTravel: 15–30% internationalWe are working with an early-stage AI company building intelligent agents for some of the world's largest manufacturers and government organizations.The technology sits at the intersection of AI, optimization and the physical economy, helping organizations make better decisions across procurement, sourcing, demand/supply planning and inventory.

The company is already working with multi-billion-dollar manufacturers and seeing significant expansion within its early customer base.They’re now looking for a Founding Deployment Strategist to join the core team in San Francisco.This is a highly customer-facing, hands-on position combining strategy consulting, enterprise deployments, commercial problem-solving and AI. You'll work directly with senior stakeholders to understand complex operational problems, identify where AI can create value and turn those opportunities into successful deployments.What you'll be doing:Lead discovery with large manufacturing and industrial customersIdentify operational pain points and translate them into AI use casesScope new deployments and build compelling ROI/business casesPrototype customer solutions using modern AI development toolsWork alongside Forward Deployed Engineers to take pilots into productionCoordinate deployments across IT, procurement and supply-chain teamsIdentify additional workflows and expansion opportunities within existing customersWhat we're looking for:1–5 years of professional experienceStrategy consulting experience from McKinsey, BCG or Bain at the pre-MBA levelHands-on exposure to manufacturing, industrials, supply chain or defense clientsStrong structured problem-solving and commercial instinctsExperience working directly with senior executives and operational stakeholdersComfortable using AI tools such as Claude, Cursor or similar to rapidly build demos and automate workflowsEntrepreneurial mindset and comfortable operating in a small, fast-moving founding teamBased in or willing to relocate to San FranciscoComfortable with 15–30% international travelThis is an unusual opportunity for an MBB consultant who wants to move out of traditional consulting and into a hands-on operating role at an early-stage AI company, with direct exposure to founders, customers and product.Interested?
