Vietnam is an important part of this global manufacturing network, with the business already adopting advanced automation and technology-led manufacturing processes.We are now looking for a hands-on AI professional who can help accelerate the adoption of Artificial Intelligence and AI Agents across the Vietnam business. The OpportunityThis is a build-and-drive role for someone who is genuinely passionate about AI and is comfortable getting hands-on with technology.The ideal candidate will not simply identify AI opportunities or manage vendors. They should be able to write code, build prototypes, develop AI/agentic solutions, experiment with emerging technologies and work directly with business and technology teams to take solutions into production.The role will act as an internal AI catalyst for Pearl Global Vietnam — identifying practical opportunities where AI can improve productivity, automation, decision-making and employee effectiveness, while also helping teams understand and adopt these technologies.This is not a strategy, program-management or purely architecture role. We are specifically looking for a hands-on AI builder who can code, experiment, build and deploy. Key areas of focus will include Apparel Merchandising, Finance, Manufacturing and Planning, while also identifying opportunities across other business functions. Key Responsibilities 1. Build AI & Agentic SolutionsDesign, develop and deploy practical AI solutions for business and manufacturing use cases.Build AI Agents and agentic workflows that can automate repetitive tasks, processes and decision-making.Work hands-on with LLMs, Generative AI, APIs, automation frameworks and AI development tools.Develop proof-of-concepts rapidly, test them with users and convert successful solutions into scalable applications.Integrate AI solutions with existing enterprise systems, databases, APIs and business workflows. 2. Identify & Drive AI Use CasesWork closely with business, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, HR, finance, merchandising and planning teams to identify high-value AI opportunities.Translate business problems into practical AI solutions rather than pursuing AI for its own sake.Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce manual work, enhance quality, improve forecasting and support faster decision-making.Build and maintain a pipeline of AI use cases and prioritise them based on business impact, feasibility and scalability. 3. AI Agents & AutomationDesign and implement AI Agents capable of performing multi-step tasks and interacting with business systems.Explore technologies such as RAG, vector databases, tool calling, workflow orchestration and multi-agent systems.Automate repetitive knowledge-work and operational processes using AI.Evaluate new AI models and tools and determine where they can create measurable business value. 4. Partner With & Enable TeamsWork directly with teams across Pearl Global Vietnam to understand their challenges and demonstrate what AI can do.Guide and support developers and business teams in adopting AI effectively.Conduct practical AI enablement sessions, workshops and demonstrations.Encourage responsible and effective use of AI across the organisation.Help teams move from experimentation to real-world implementation. 5. Build for ProductionEnsure AI solutions are secure, reliable, scalable and maintainable.Establish appropriate practices around data privacy, access, monitoring, testing and AI governance.Measure the effectiveness and business impact of deployed AI solutions.Work with technology teams to integrate successful solutions into the organisation's broader technology ecosystem. What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is technically strong, highly hands-on and genuinely excited about AI. Must Have:4–8 years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, data engineering or a closely related technology role.Strong hands-on programming experience, particularly Python.Practical experience building and deploying AI/ML or Generative AI solutions.Strong understanding of LLMs and Generative AI.Hands-on experience with AI Agents / agentic workflows, or a strong demonstrated ability to build them.Experience working with APIs, databases and integrating AI into applications and business workflows.Experience with one or more LLM/AI frameworks or orchestration tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel or equivalent.Experience with RAG, embeddings and vector databases.Strong software engineering and problem-solving fundamentals.Ability to rapidly prototype, experiment and turn ideas into working solutions.Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and take ownership from idea → prototype → deployment. Strong hands-on coding ability is essential. Candidates should be able to independently write code, build AI/agentic applications and demonstrate working solutions. Good to HaveExperience with AI applications in manufacturing, supply chain, operations or enterprise environments.Exposure to computer vision, OCR or image/video-based AI.Experience with predictive analytics, forecasting or optimisation.Experience integrating AI with ERP, MES, CRM or other enterprise systems.Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.Familiarity with MLOps, model evaluation, observability and AI governance.Experience building internal AI copilots or enterprise knowledge assistants.Experience leading AI adoption or transformation initiatives.
