AI/ML EngineerLocation: London (hybrid – 2 days per week in office)Type: PermanentSalary: £65,000 – £80,000 + EMI share optionsInterview Process: 3 stagesWe're hiring an AI/ML Engineer for a fast-growing data and AI consultancy working across financial services, private equity, retail, asset management, and the public sector. This is a new role driven by increased project demand; you won't be joining a team that's standing still. Engineers here typically say they learn more in a year than anywhere else they've worked, and the project mix backs that up: satellite image analysis, pharma auditing copilots, government deepfake detection, and more.You'll join a 12-person engineering team and work across the full lifecycle - from fast POCs through to production-grade systems in regulated environments. There's a hard start date on an upcoming project, so we're moving quickly.About youAt least 2 years of experience in AI engineering, ML engineering, or a closely related data science roleHands-on production experience with LLMsStrong understanding of RAG, embeddings, context engineering, and agentic frameworksExperience with evals and model monitoring in live environmentsComfortable with Azure, LangChain, and modern MLOps practicesSolid Python and the engineering discipline to write clean, testable, version-controlled codeClear communicator - you can explain models and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholdersSC clearance eligibility (UK 5-year residency) is a plus - not required now but may be needed for certain government projectsWhat's on offer£65,000 – £80,000 base salaryEMI share options£6,000 annual training and conference allowanceMatched pension up to 6%Private healthcare (Vitality)25 days holiday + bank holidays (buy or sell up to 5)Work abroad up to one month per yearCycle-to-work schemeCentral London office with regular socials📩 Interested?
