Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!Experience: 6-8 years.Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from OfficeYour Profile & DNA:We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable AI solutions that enable intelligent applications in production environments.The ideal candidate will combine expertise in AI engineering, backend development, cloud technologies, automation, and software engineering practices to build secure, reliable, and high-performing AI systems. You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to transform AI models into production-ready solutions while ensuring scalability, observability, and operational excellence.Roles & ResponsibilitiesAI Engineering & Application DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain production-grade AI applications and intelligent solutions.Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize and integrate AI/ML models into business applications.Build scalable backend services and APIs to support AI-driven applications.Develop secure, reliable, and maintainable software solutions following engineering best practices.Optimize AI application performance, reliability, and scalability.Cloud Integration & DeploymentDevelop and deploy AI solutions using modern Azure cloud technologies.Build and maintain cloud-based AI application architectures.Implement automated deployment processes for AI applications.Manage application lifecycle from development through production deployment.Ensure secure and efficient integration between AI services, backend systems, and cloud platforms.DevOps & AutomationBuild and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for AI application delivery.Implement DevOps practices to improve development, testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.Automate operational workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.Support continuous integration and continuous delivery of AI solutions.Monitoring, Testing & Operational ExcellenceImplement monitoring and observability solutions for AI applications.Improve system reliability, performance, and availability in production environments.Design and execute testing strategies for AI applications and supporting services.Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis.Continuously improve AI platform capabilities, processes, and engineering standards.Qualification & ExperienceA Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.Strong experience in AI Engineering and deploying AI solutions into production environments.Strong software engineering background with experience building scalable applications.Experience with backend development and API integration.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.Strong understanding of DevOps practices and automation.Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or equivalent.Experience with software development best practices, including:Clean code principlesTesting practicesVersion controlApplication scalabilityReliability engineeringWhat do we offer?If your profile matches the job requirement and you are interested to be presented to our clients, then please apply and don’t forget to attach your updated CV in line with the JD!This position is for 1 year with possibility of extension.
